The world is moving more towards video content these days. If nothing, at least the number of daily traffic to websites like YouTube and TikTok should tell you that.
So, the sensible thing for anyone, of course, will be to learn how to leverage videos for your marketing and brand awareness.
Which is why I’m happy that you asked this question.
So, what are unusual (but good) ways to leverage video marketing for your brand?
I will give you three.
1. YouTube: It just had to be YouTube! It’s safe to say that YouTube is the number one platform on planet earth to go look for videos on any topic, from funny cat videos, to how to tie a tie, to how to make a girl fall in love with you, to how to make millions from home to virtually any subject you can think of.
As of 2021, it is reported that YouTube gets over 1 billion watch hours every single day. That is Every. Single. Day.
Given these statistics, it’s only normal that we start with YouTube.
So, create a YouTube channel if you don’t have one already, post good, valuable content there, and in no time, people are going to start knowing, liking, and trusting you.

2. Udemy: Surprise, surprise! I assume you already know about the Udemy platform. It’s a platform where you can host your video courses and get people to pay you for them.
But what if you were to upload a free course on Udemy? Give your audience something very valuable for free and they’re gonna love you. And then you can upsell something to them after giving them the free value.
And remember, the more people sign up for your free course, the more your brand gets free publicity.
It’s a win-win.
3. TikTok: TikTok is gaining a surprising amount of traffic these days. And it’s a good idea to leverage that traffic for your brand.
So, how do you do this? TikTok is a platform where you upload videos anywhere from 15 seconds to 1 minute around any topic of your choice. So, what you want to do is start posting short videos around your topic. Make them valuable.
Then you can direct people to watch the full videos on your YouTube channel or wherever, where you will have the complete video.
Again, I will mention something I mentioned a couple of times already: make your content valuable. If the only reason you are putting these things out is because you want to sell to people, people are going to smell it from over a mile. Nobody wants to be around a sell-out. Make your content valuable to people!
So, there are three ways by which you can leverage video marketing for your brand awareness.
