How Can I Make Money Online in 2021

The very first thing you want to know about making money online (or anywhere else for that matter) is that it is not really so much what you do as it is how you do it.

So, it is not really about what business you’re into, or what industry you work in, it’s more about how you do what you do in that business or industry.

Talking about how you do what you do, we are looking at your work ethics, how persistent you are, how skillfully you do what you do, etc.

There is money, for example, in blogging, but if you are a mediocre blogger, you are most probably not going to make a lot of money from blogg

There’s money in managing Facebook ads for businesses, but if your ads don’t convert or get them their results, they’re surely not going to call you another time.

Note that this list is NOT in any particular order, so you don’t go getting your hopes up that perhaps the first one makes a lot more money than the other methods. It all depends on the amount of work you put in, as mentioned already.

1.      Affiliate Marketing

First of all, what is affiliate marketing? Put simply, affiliate marketing means that you bring customers to someone who sells something and you earn a commission on the purchase.

Commission is a certain percentage of the price of the purchase made by the customer.

From the little definition, I think it is clear that you do not have to own whatever it is that is being sold. You simply find someone selling something, bring the people who will buy from them, and collect your commission.

Also, affiliate marketing is beautiful because it works for virtually anything. It can be goods or services. And it can be online or offline.

2.      YouTube Content Creation 

Second to Google, YouTube is the number two place where people search for knowledge on the internet. As at the writing of this post, it is estimated that YouTube gets about 000million visits every single day. These visitors are looking for anything from funny cat videos, to how to tie a tie, to how to make a girl fall in love with you, to virtually any subject you can think of. Point is, the possibilities are endless.

And if you can get in on this traffic by positioning yourself as an authority in something, you can make cool cash from this.

3.      Blogging

Are you the most knowledgeable person you know about a particular topic?

Or maybe you have faced and overcome a challenge, and that has given you experience and insights about how other people who are going through similar challenges can overcome them. Why don’t you blog about that?

There are people out there who want to hear your unique perspective about a certain topic. There are people who want to follow your model for overcoming their challenges.

4.      Creating and Selling Low-Content Books on Amazon

What are low-content books? These are books with little to no content in them that you can create and publish through Amazon KDP. Amazon has made it so easy for you that there does not need to be any overhead cost to you to publish your books. That is why it is called Kindle Direct Publishing.

They do a print-on-demand service so that the book is only printed when someone orders for it, and there’s no pre-printing cost to you. Amazon charges for the printing only when someone orders for it and they pay you your royalty on each sale.

How beautiful is that?

Oh! And Amazon is not the only place where you can sell your low-content books either. There are many other platforms to publish your e-book or print.

5.      Publish E-books

Aside from publishing print books, you can also publish e-books on various platforms. You can sell your e-books directly, and you do not even need a contract with a publishing house to do this.

What’s more? You do not even necessarily need any big platforms like Amazon and co to get your book out there. It can be as simple as creating a payment link with a platform like Payoneer (or Paystack or Flutterwave) for example, and then directing people to that link.

Then after payment, you simply redirect them to where you already uploaded your file (think Google Drive or Dropbox) so they can download their file.
